The article discusses the system of customs protection of goods containing intellectual property assets  in the Eurasian Economic Union.It provides a hierarchical system of the Union’s and the Member States’ legislation to protect rights to intellectual property during cross border movement of goods. It analyses customs protection processes and reveals their basic stages.
